This page explains each part of the editor, what it changes, and when to use it. All audio processing happens locally in your browser.

Shows how many tracks are currently available in the batch list.
Shows whether the app is idle, loading, restoring saved work, or handling an error. When many files are selected, the counter confirms the import is still progressing.
Stops a restore or import in progress and performs a full reset so the editor returns to a clean state.
Shows the file name of the track currently loaded into the waveform editor.
Sets how long the default selected clip should be when a new track is loaded. The app starts selection at the beginning of the song.
Sets the starting fade length applied automatically to new tracks.
Sets the ending fade length applied automatically to new tracks.
Applies the current default clip duration and fade settings to every track already in the batch. This overwrites each track's existing selection and fade lengths.
Displays the active track visually. The highlighted section is the part that will be exported.
Drag near the start or end of the highlighted area to resize the clip. Drag inside the highlighted area to move the whole selection without changing its length.
A vertical line moves across the waveform during playback to show the current play position.
Shows the full length of the active track.
Shows the current playback position while audio is playing.
Show the exact start and end time of the selected clip.
Shows the total duration of the selected clip that will be exported.
Show the current fade lengths applied to the beginning and end of the exported clip.
Shows the volume gain currently applied to the active track.
Moves the start point of the selected clip.
Moves the end point of the selected clip.
Adds a gradual increase in volume at the beginning of the exported clip.
Adds a gradual reduction in volume before the selected clip ends.
Raises or lowers the exported clip volume. Playback and waveform height update as the gain changes so you can hear and see the adjustment.
Applies peak normalization during export. This helps make clips more consistent by raising quieter audio toward a safe peak level.
When enabled, exported clips include ID3 artist and title tags. The app reads defaults from filenames such as Artist - Title.mp3, unless you manually enter row values in the track table.
Plays the complete active track from the beginning.
Plays only the selected clip range, including fade and gain settings.
Stops the current playback.
Exports only the currently active track selection as a separate MP3 file.
Exports every loaded track using its own selection and settings, then packages the MP3 clips into one ZIP file.
Clears the loaded tracks, saved restore data, selections, and editor state.
Shows the percentage complete while the ZIP file is being prepared.
Each row represents one loaded MP3 file. Click the track name to make that track active in the waveform editor.
These columns summarize each track's current export settings without needing to open every row.
These columns show whether normalization and ID3 writing are enabled for that track.
Use these to manually set ID3 tag values for a track. Manual values override the artist and title guessed from the filename.
Exports that row's clip without changing which track is active.
Discards that track from the loaded list and removes it from future batch exports.
The editor saves loaded tracks and edit settings in browser storage so work can be recovered after a refresh. Downloading a ZIP or pressing Reset clears that backup.
If a restore is taking too long, use Cancel to stop it and return to a clean editor.
